Afternoon everyone and happy Sunday to you! I know its been a wile since my last post but I’m back with a brand new one some holiday pieces in swimwear and just day to day clothing as I myself am going to be heading away in just a few weeks time! Himself and I are heading to Portugal again and I cannot wait! The holiday shopping has already started and I have picked up a few new pieces from Primark and of course Newlook but I have found some other really cool pieces that I wanted to share with you guys.
So there is a good mix of brands in here from Missguided, Boohoo, River island and so on so everywhere has definitely started to get all their holiday shop products in which is great to see. Obviously everyone has a different idea of what vacation clothes are and whats in the store websites “holiday shop” section doesn’t always have what you would wear on holidays so its always good to shop everything just so see is there that perfect summer dress or playsuit. For instance holiday shops tend to have a lot of beachwear outfits which are great for the beach but not for day to day. I personally always look for holiday clothes and pieces that I can wear at home during summer so they aren’t just going to sit in the wardrobe or cupboard for months on end until the next holiday happens so its just about getting your moneys worth and getting those versatile pieces that will serve you through the year instead of just a week or so away!
So in this post I have chosen pieces that are idea for holidays and are able to worn on nights out, summer months, festivals etc like the Prettylittlething white playsuits that would be unreal with sandals on holiday or with boots and a kimono for summer at home. I personally love a good playsuit for holidays because they are just so handy to throw over swimwear, dress up a little for dinner out, they just dont need that much planning and are so comfy! Stripes are in at the moment so I have included a few stripey options which are very cool pieces like the stripe swimsuit from ASOS which is simple but still a trendy and fashionable piece. I have also added a frill bardot swimsuit from Boohoo which is virtually identical to the one I wore in Spain last year (see here) which is my favourite swimsuit because its bardot you won get any tan lines on your shoulder which is always a bonus! I always tend to go for strapless or bandeau swimwear just to completely cut out the risk of any tan lines on shoulders or arms and get an even tan (well thats always the plan anyway I usually just burn!)
I definitely will be doing more summer/holiday outfits the more we head to summer so this is definitely the first of a few posts on that subject! I hope this post was helpful and you go some holiday inspiration! Speak to you all soon!
